Approach to Electrification

The automotive industry is entering a period of tremendous change toward electrification. In this context, in order to eliminate CO₂ emissions, the cause of global warming, the development of mobility that does not use fossil fuels is expanding at a rapid pace. Moving forward in this global environment, efforts to reduce the weight of vehicles will be an essential part of the electrification process.

Hiroshima Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. will continue to pursue manufacturing by making full use of aluminum alloy die-casting.
Die-cast aluminum alloys have three major advantages.
First, by using die-casting machines to inject molten metal at high speed and high pressure, we are able to create thin-walled shapes, allowing us to offer parts that are lightweight and have excellent heat dissipation effects.
Second, by using different aluminum alloy materials accordingly and making full use of heat treatment technology, we have the capability to add the ductility and corrosion resistance sought by our customers.
Third, by harnessing our ability to produce a large number of high-quality products in a short period of time, we can thoroughly cut costs and achieve price competitiveness.
