Safety Education

The company’s great responsibility is to maintain a safe working environment for the employees to have a sense of security while working. It is always necessary to continuously implement the measures regarding safety to eliminate the hidden repeatedly risks in the working place. The company, we are aiming to enforce the 6S namely as a policy; Seiri (putting in order/arrangement), Seiton (orderliness), Seisou (cleanliness), Seiketsu (hygiene),Shitsuke (discipline), Shuukan (custom). We are also aiming to achieve a “Zero Accident at Work” and taking into initiatives the improvement of safety and health of each and every one. Here, we will introduce the company’s commitment to safety and health.

Danger Experience Classroom

In order to do the work safely, we do not rely only on equipment measures but rather we established a “danger experience classroom” where we can lecture of our employees in perceiving risks of danger.

In our classroom, our correspondents are primarily the newly-hired employees who are require to be lecture by regarding the danger perceptions.

The most common area where the employees have high possibilities to involve in a disaster is manufacturing site. In the past experience, there were some cases that their working gloves are pulled by the machine and they cannot control it until it has been dragged continuously.

Unconsciously, because of body reactions, they pulled out their hand. Which is the reason why we did a study on how to work with devices safely.

Also, we are learning the necessary for safety belts to be wear for the protection of lower back. Especially when suspended at aerial work platforms.

KYT (Risk Prediction Training)

At the production plant it is necessary to take particular caution when undertaking tasks which are not done frequently, the so called “non-routine work”. To that purpose, a group activity of Risk Prediction Training is done where an specific task is selected and turned into a theme as “When performing such and such task, what possible causes of danger exist?”, and then the group proposes ideas to eliminate such risks and from there countermeasures to implement are determined.

At the end, the main countermeasure is then put into a catch-phrase such as “When performing such task, let’s such and such” and everybody performs a pointing signal. Thus, risk prevention training is performed to avoid performing actions or tasks in a way that causes injuries.
