Environmental Philosophy

Hiroshima Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. shall actively contribute to the maintenance of human health and the protection of the global environment through its corporate activities as a responsible member of society.

Guidelines for Action

1. We shall strive to protect the global environment by actively working to recycle, save resources, conserve energy, and reduce CO₂ emissions.
2. We shall strive to minimize waste and prevent pollution generated through our day-to-day activities.
3. We shall take responsibility for complying with such things as environmental laws, regulations, agreements, and the requests of interested parties.
4. We shall establish an environmental management system and make continuous improvements to this system in order to enhance our environmental performance.
5. We shall make this Environmental Policy known to all employees, and endeavor to raise awareness of global environmental issues through environmental education and public relations activities.
6. We shall set environmental targets and review them annually so as to fulfill this Environmental Policy.
7. We shall disclose the content of this Environmental Policy to the public, and take steps to ensure that we coexist in harmony with local communities.
